Terms of Use

Keelbase is a web-based platform for boat maintenance, crew task management, component records, service history and related operational data. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Access is granted by a fleet administrator via a referral code. Administrators may change or remove your access at any time.

You agree not to:

• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data or infrastructure.
• Upload unlawful, offensive or malicious content.
• Use the platform to harm, harass or impersonate others.
• Interfere with the platform's availability or security.
• Reverse engineer, scrape or copy the platform.

You retain ownership of operational data you enter (tasks, service records, notes). By entering data, you grant Keelbase a limited licence to store and display it to you and your fleet members. Do not enter data you are not authorised to share within the workspace. See our Privacy Notice for details on how personal data is handled.

Keelbase is a record-keeping and planning tool only. It does not replace professional inspection, classification society requirements, flag state regulations or the judgement of qualified marine professionals. Vessel owners and operators remain solely responsible for safety decisions, maintenance outcomes and legal compliance.

We aim to keep Keelbase available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages or emergency fixes. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.

The Keelbase name, logo, design and software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify or distribute them without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account.

To the extent permitted by law, Keelbase is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by you for the service in the three months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.

We may update these terms when features or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
